Rich, punchy, and satisfying
More intense than I expected from the size. Dark, earthy flavors with good pepper. Not for beginners but very enjoyable for experienced smokers. Well worth trying if you can find them.

Product Presentation: Box of 10
First Third
The extra ring gauge on this Montesco vitola creates a wide, open channel for airflow, delivering massive volumes of thick gray clouds right from the first puff. You get hit immediately with a heavy dose of dark cocoa powder and a texture that reminds me of heavy cream, coating the palate completely. There is barely any pepper in these early moments, just a rich, roasted coffee bean character that feels incredibly smooth despite the cigar's obvious density.
Mid-Section
As the burn line settles, the Supremos reveals layers. Leather and earth emerge beneath the chocolate, adding savoury depth. Roasted almonds provide texture while citrus zest delivers an unexpected brightness. Nougat—sweet and nutty—develops on the retrohale. The body pushes towards medium-full, the wide gauge keeping everything cool and flavourful. The draw produces an almost oily smoke that coats the mouth.
Final Third
The final third intensifies without losing balance. The chocolate darkens into bitter cacao territory while leather and earth dominate. Coffee deepens into espresso. A mineral quality adds sophistication, and the pepper that was absent early on finally makes an appearance—warming and assertive. The finish is long and oily, leaving a rich cocoa-and-leather impression that lingers.

For a smaller format cigar, the Supremos delivers a remarkably full-bodied experience. I've had three from my box so far and each has been excellent. Rich, smooth, with a long finish. Highly recommend.
The Montecristo Supremos caught my eye at a tobacconist in Geneva and I'm so glad I picked up a box. It's a gorgeous petit robusto with an oily dark wrapper. The flavor is rich and concentrated — dark chocolate, espresso, a hint of black pepper — and it packs a surprising amount of complexity into its compact size. About 45 minutes of premium smoking. If you enjoyed the Petit Edmundo, the Supremos takes that concept and elevates it considerably.
