A Solid Smoke But Not a Daily Driver
Pulled these Montecristo Joyitas from a sampler pack I grabbed at a local shop in Philly last month. At $0 for a box of 25, you really can't complain about value - they're basically throw-ins with larger purchases. The Laguito No.3 size (26 ring gauge, 4.5 inches) makes them a quick smoke, perfect for my lunch break or when I just want something light. The draw was consistently good box after box, and burn quality held up decently. That said, these never really hit the spot for me. The flavor profile is pretty bland - I get some mild cedar and hay, but nothing that excites my palate. Compared to my daily rotation of Bolivar Belicosos, it's no contest. Those have way more character and a richer, more complex smoke. For a Montecristo Joyitas review, I'd say they're fine as an occasional smoke, but I won't be reaching for them regularly. Not bad, just forgettable.
