Decent Smoke but Not My Daily Driver
Been smoking daily for over a decade, and grabbed these San Cristobal El Principe cigars as part of a sampler pack. At $0 for a box of 25, you can't complain about the price, but you get what you pay for. The burn was inconsistent—had to relight a few times, which gets annoying when you're relaxing after work. Draw was tighter than I'd like on some sticks, though others smoked fine. The flavor profile is medium with some earth and slight spice, nothing memorable. Compared to my daily rotation, this doesn't stand out. Honestly, if you're going to spend money, the Montecristo No. 2 is a better investment—the construction is far superior and the flavor more complex. These are fine for a freebee, but I wouldn't buy a box. The 40 ring gauge and 110mm size make it a quick smoke, but consistency box to box is lacking.
