My Daily Driver
I've replaced my daily D4 with the D6 and I'm not looking back. Faster smoke, same great Partagas flavor, and the wider ring gauge adds a creaminess I actually prefer. Going through a box a month at this rate.

First Third
The Serie D No. 6 opens with characteristic Partagas directness. Earth and pepper arrive immediately, announcing the brand's bold character in miniature. There is a creaminess here that tempers the initial punch — richer than expected for the format — and coffee notes develop quickly underneath. The compact Petit Robusto format concentrates these flavors, delivering them with a density that belies the cigar's modest size. Cedar provides a woody framework, and the draw is firm but productive.
Mid-Section
The middle section is where the Serie D pedigree reveals itself. The earth deepens, joined by dark chocolate and a leather note that adds complexity. The pepper that opened the cigar settles into a steady warmth, complemented by baking spice on the retrohale. Coffee evolves from light to medium roast, and a savory quality emerges — something close to toasted bread or dark caramel. The body builds toward medium-full, and the transitions feel deliberate rather than abrupt.
Final Third
The final third pushes the intensity upward. Pepper reasserts itself, and the earth takes on a drier, more mineral character. The chocolate turns bitter — dark cacao rather than milk — while leather and wood dominate the finish. The cigar heats as it shortens, concentrating the final flavors into a powerful, savory conclusion. The Serie D signature is unmistakable in the closing draws: bold, earthy, and deeply satisfying.

The Partagas Serie D No. 6 is a Petit Robusto format Cuban cigar presented in boxes of 20. It offers smokers a more manageable size within the Serie D line without compromising on the depth and complexity that Partagas is celebrated for.
This medium-full cigar suits experienced smokers and curious newcomers alike, delivering the signature Partagas earthiness and spice in a compact 25-to-35-minute session. The Petit Robusto format concentrates flavour efficiently, making it an excellent option when time is limited but standards are not.

The Serie D No.6 is what I keep in my travel case. Short enough for a quick smoke, flavorful enough to feel like a real cigar experience. More substance than the Shorts and more convenient than the D4. Smart addition to the Partagas lineup.
The Partagas Serie D No.6 takes everything I love about the D4 and compresses it into a shorter, wider format. The 50 ring gauge gives you a cool, creamy smoke and the shorter length means you can enjoy it in about 30 minutes. The flavor profile is classic Partagas Serie D — earth, dark chocolate, pepper — with perhaps a touch more sweetness due to the wider gauge. I smoked one during my lunch break in Frankfurt and it was the perfect midday pick-me-up. If you love the D4 but wish it were quicker, the D6 is your cigar.
