A Milestone Deserves This Cigar
My father deserved something special for his 70th birthday, so I pulled out the Montecristo Open Regata review I'd been saving for months. The setting was perfect - a warm summer evening on our back porch, family gathered around, champagne flowing. This medium-bodied cigar delivered exactly what I hoped: smooth, creamy flavors with just the right amount of complexity. I'd tried Bolivar Belicosos earlier that year and found them a bit too strong for my taste. The Regata's 46 ring gauge made for an ideal smoking experience - not too thick, not too thin. At 135mm, it lasted nearly an hour, giving me plenty of time to reflect on what my dad means to me. The smoke was consistent from start to finish, and the ash held beautifully. This isn't just a cigar - it's a memory in the making. I'll definitely be reaching for another on future milestones.
